He studied law at Metropolitan University Prague (2009) and at the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (2011); already during his studies he worked as an assistant in a law firm. Since passing the bar exams he has practised as an independent attorney, specialising mainly in civil and commercial law.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno, where in 1980 she passed the rigorosum and earned a doctorate in law (JUDr.). She gained experience as an in-house lawyer and as a researcher at the Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs. She has practised as an attorney since 1996 and is a long-standing arbitrator at the Arbitration Court attached to the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Agricultural Chamber.
